The proposed contract is for Wildfire Surveys within the Kamloops TSA – Kamloops and Headwaters Forest Districts. There are 17 units (251.8ha) which exist as Pre-1987 blocks and are contained within a variety of 2009 wildfires and one (17.7ha) exists without a current opening within Carmen Woodlot 1596 (part of the 2003 McLure Fire). The list of units is included with this posting.
FFT Wildfire Surveys and Prescriptions are required on all areas which have been burned. RESULTS Submissions will be required per the RESULTS INFORMATION SUBMISSION SPECIFICATIONS – Government Funded Silviculture Activities – May 2010 (http://www.for.gov.bc.ca/hfp/publications/00220/resultsSubmission.pdf).
